[SOLVED] lost of control center

Hi.

I can't find where is the Control Center in KDE 4.1.4, for changing themes, icons and so.

Can someone help me, please ?

You should find it very easily in your kmenu. What distribution (version) do you use?

It's called "System Settings" in KDE 4.x.

the binary is "systemsettings" and the kmenu name is "Configure Desktop" and yes is not as good/intuitive/responsive/searchable as the kde3.x versions

Yes, that's what i think but in fact, it's not the case !
I'm on KDE 4.1.4 in Debian SID, for testing this distro.

  1. Press Alt+F2
  2. Type "system" (without the quotation marks)
  3. System Settings should be one of the icons. Click on it (or press Enter if it's selected).
If it can't be found, try to run "systemsettings" (without quotation marks) in a terminal (e.g. Konsole) and see if it works.
