I have a severe problem. There is a keyboard short cut for "log out without confirmation". I forget what the sequence is Alt+Ctrl+shift+backspace. I have changed it to "None". However, the sequence is still there somehow. What happens is I am typing and I do like a shift cursor thing to select some text and then I guess I delete it and somehow fat finger the ctrl key - I dunno. But I am doing this Multiple Times per Day! I just all the sudden log out. And it is driving me insane. I edited the settings, like I said, to be None. But this is still happening.[hr]
I've done some more investigation and it's actually Ctrl+Shift+Backspace that is doing the forced logout. Where can I find this setting so I can purge it manually?

Which version of KDE are you using?

Also how quick is the "log off"? is it immediate dump back to the logon screen? If it is the combination is probably Ctrl + Alt + Backspace which kills the Graphical server. You will need to contact your distribution to disable this.

The default "Log out without confirmation" is Ctrl + Alt + Shift + Delete on my system ( KDE 4 Trunk -> to be 4.3 )

This is KDE3.5. It's running thru the log-off sequence - just the same as if I had chosen log off and confirmed.

Where are the keymappings stored? How do I remove this? I thought maybe I had several different key sequences inadvertently mapped, but it looks like it's Shift+Enter. If I do shift+Crtl+enter or shift+ctrl+delete+enter - pretty much anything with shift and enter and I get logged off. It is really annoying.

You need to add a line to xorg.conf to disable the inbuilt server restart functionality ( which is triggered through Ctrl + Alt + Backspace )
