desktop setiings

Sun Jan 18, 2009 7:29 pm
Hello,
I've just installed new KDE 4.1.96 on my opensuse 11.1 and I have a problem. I want to change my desktop settings (like wallpaper) but I cannot find place to do it. When I click right mouse button on desktop it does not work. It worked when I had KDE 4.1.3. But when I click that button on some icon or something else then I see options. It does not work only in case of desktop settings.
Could you help me?

Do you get anything when you right-click on the desktop? The very least you should get when right-clicking on the desktop is:

*Run command
*Unlock widgets
*Appearance settings
*Lock screen
*Leave

The third one is what you would want, and is certainly available in my OpenSUSE 11.1 + KDE 4.1.96 installation (using the factory repos)

If that fails, click on the cashew and see if there's an appearance settings there (there should be!)

OpenSUSE 11.4, 64-bit with KDE 4.6.4
