I prefer the detailed view in Konqueror. When I click on a jpeg, it is displayed in a preview. Then I click the "back" or "folder up" button and Konqueror shows the content as icons. I would prefer my default detailed view.
How can I set this up?

If I am in a folder then the view I was last in it is remebered. At this point in time, I cannot see an option to change the default from Icons. I would recommend filing a feature request if it has not already been filed. Component would be Dolphin ( Konqueror views folders through Dolphin )
