Just did the upgrade in Arch, which was probably the first distro that has official KDE 4.2 packages available...
I noticed I cannot add Google gadgets in Plasma, whereas I can in Debian (svn version). I seem to have all packages. Did the devs miss a dependency, or is there a tweak someplace. BTW: I did try with a fresh .kde4 folder, no difference....

Ensure that you have all Google Gadgets related packages installed, if that does not work, run "kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental" and try again. If this doesn't work then you will need to contact the Arch developers for KDE 4.

Thanks,
it didn't work, so let's see what the Arch devs can do about it...

Please post back here when you get a solution from the Arch developers, so that future searchers can resolve their problems. Thanks in advance.
