Hello everyone,

My first linux distro I tried was Mandriva, then OpenSuse. I didn't really like OpenSuse, but I like Ubuntu over all.

How ever there is something I have noticed about KDE that I haven't about Gnome.
KDE has more personal stuff that comes with it, like what you would expect to have in a standard linux. I mean, sure. I don't know of a linux distro that has its own GUIDE or web browser, but much like OSX KDE has it's own stuff, stuff that Gnome doesn't even have.

I didn't like the way that OpenSuse modified KDE's look, but I like the way it looks in the screen shots. I have Ubuntu installed, and I am thinking of removing Gnome and installing KDE. Am I right to assume there is a documentation on how to make KDE themes?

I believe there is somewhere, however KDE has two different themes, the colour theme, and the widget theme.

3rd party Colour themes are available here: http://www.kde-look.org/index.php?xcontentmode=74

Alright. I can make Gnome themes, partially. But I want something more. :P
Also, I heard KDE used to work with apple, is that true? And does Konquerer still use KHTML, or does it use Webkit?
Also, what is QT4?

KDE 4 applications work in Apple OS X and Apple dashboard widgets work in Plasma on Linux.

Konqueror still uses KHTML as its default renderer but it is possible to install an alpha-quality WebKit one if desired. When Qt 4.5 is released the WebKit support will improve greatly.

Qt 4 is the toolkit that all KDE applications use. It is owned by Qt Software of Nokia and makes our (The KDE developers') lives very, very easy as it handles all the hard parts of development allowing us to provide a uniform and consistent user experience throughout all our modules and submodules.

Sweet! :D Also, can you link me to the tutorial to get webkit in Konquerer, or do you not recommend it?
Also, when making themes, is there a way to change the K! Icon with a "Menu" button, or something?
My goal is not to make it windows like, just add a menu button.

Eh, I'll see what I can get with google. :P

Your distribution may already have a package. Try webkitkde or kdewebkit. An Ubuntu user here can probably tell you what the package is named if it exists. Otherwise the code is located at /trunk/playground/libs/webkitkde/ in KDE svn. ( accessible through websvn.kde.org or anonsvn.kde.org )
