To the left of file open dialog there is a list of default locations. How can I add somethig to this list/modify existing items, remove them?

Which version of KDE? Have you tried to right click in the list?

I get "Add entry..." when I right click, running KDE4 for trunk. This feature probably added to KDE 4.2, so you might want to upgrade to the recently released version.

Yeah, a right-click menu with "Add entry..." was added in KDE 4.2.

Yes right clicking on elements work!! But why I can't edit all of them? Some I only can hide
