Although kdocker (as far as I can work out) is a KDE3 application, it's worked fine up until I installed 4.2 this morning. Now it's evidently incompatible, as running it causes X to go mad and eat up all of my CPU.
So I need a replacement that will allow me to dock a couple of applications in the system tray. Is there anything in 4.2? I can't find any obvious option; there's an app called "alltray" which claims to do this job, but although that does seem to dock, it's invisible in the KDE4.2 tray. Any suggestions? Thanks |

I'm not sure but I think there's a plugin to dock thunderbird on system tray, but I don't know if it runs correctly in KDE4. |

Hey everyone!
I just discovered "alltray" which does basically the same job as KDocker. For those who want to try: http://alltray.trausch.us/ Cheers, Ingo |

That would be the old version. There's Qt4-port of it, and if you use the Qt3-version I would suggest you update to the latest version (if possible, currently 4.3 IIRC) and see if it solves your problem.
