kde 3 themes source code

Wed Feb 11, 2009 7:50 pm
i am looking for source code of

kde 3 styles 'Light Style, 3rd revision' and '.NET style'

kde 3 window decorations - any one that uses images (like Glow) and one that does not (like Quartz / KDE 1)

and how to compile them for KDE 3 (if its not straightforward)

i want to build only the .NET style (after modifying the source) and not the entire kdeartwork package

the makefiles etc seem to be intended only to build all of it together

how i build .NET ?

Makefiles are a very sticky business unfortunately, with only a handful of KDE's Core Developers actually understanding the system. You will need to build the module as a whole, unless you can find a Makefile Guru to help you.

At least for the kdeartwork bundle, you should be able to "make configure" at the top, and then go to the style you want and run "make" without touching anything else.
