I was wondering what happened to the "show windows on all desktops" option ?
Is there any way to have the windows disappear when switching desktops if that old option is gone?

Try clicking on the window title bar or task manager icon and select "to desktop" -> "All Desktops". That works in KDE 4.2, at least.

Well that is the opposite of what I asked but thanks though . I would like to clear the taskbar when i switch to another desktop. in the old "control center" you would have to uncheck it but i cannot find that option .
