The KDE screensaver won't start. Xscreensaver works, and xset works, but not KDE screensaver. This is on a FreeBSD 7.1 system. I don't have a problem on another FreeBSD system, nor on an Arch laptop. I can activate the screensaver with "qdbus org.kde.krunner /ScreenSaver SetActive true", so that much works. But it just doesn't activate normally. I'm not seeing any errors on the console.
Here is my current .kde4/share/config/kscreensaverrc: [ScreenSaver] ActionBottomLeft=0 ActionBottomRight=0 ActionTopLeft=0 ActionTopRight=0 Enabled=true Lock=false LockGrace=60000 PlasmaEnabled=false Priority=19 Saver=glmatrix.desktop Timeout=60 I've spent too much time trying to fix this, and I'm giving up. Anyone with a clue please let me know.

I use Widgets on Screensaver as well. My config file:
[ScreenSaver] Enabled=true Lock=false LockGrace=60000 PlasmaEnabled=true Timeout=60 You might want to remove those "Action" lines.

I did that, no such luck. I think I'm going to switch to plain old XScreensaver until I get the time to look at this closer.
