[SOLVED] It is all about Video on motherboard

I like to find out which video card do I have on my motherboard.
But if I have to use konsole could you please let me know which Konsole should I use it,I
think is 3/4 different konsole we can use it.

Please could you be so kind and give me a hand.

You are using openSUSE, right? Open up the application launcher, go to Applications->System->Administrator Settings (it should be at or near the bottom). Enter your root password. Click the "Hardware" entry on the left, and then click "Graphics Card and Monitor" on the right. It should be listed under "Card" in the "Monitor" section.

I`m sorry you are wrong but I give some more info. may is my mistake to?Ok:
Every one got a motherboard with video right and I like to find out what is in my motherboard video so then I will know exactly what is my motherboard model#.So there is all the info you need.:-)

You have either a S3 Graphics Chrome9 HC Graphics core or S3 Graphics Unichrome Pro Graphics core for your Motherboard graphics

You probably will not get great linux support for the Unichrome Pro, no 3D, vesa only.
Not sure about the Chrome9

Will it make a different if I put in Nvidia card and get 3d support:-S

If you add a NVidia card then you can connect your monitor to that, and then you will be able to use the capabilities of that card ( including 3D )

It will not affect the S3 Graphics in any way.
