Since updating to the latest Kubuntu I cannot get the weather to work. The Icon ( a open end wrench) opens a window "LCD Weather Station Settings" but it will not accept any locations or other information beside Wind format --Miles per Hour aand update every 30 minutes. I think I had it working in the earlier versions and definitely have it in Ubuntu.
Thank you very much in advance. **** |

It is likely that the weather Data Engine was not included in the update you performed recently, and is now incompatible. Please ensure your system is fully updated.

I think the kweather is obselete.:'( I have apt-get Qt aand installed it. Took about 6 hours. I have the Ubuntu Alpha 5 installed. I have KDE 4.2 installed. I get weather in ubuntu but cannot get it in KDE (Kubuntu) . I have superkaramba installed and tried to get the "Liquid Weather" with no luck. I do not know how to install the lwp-15.0.skz_FILES. I would like to stay in KDE and not switch back and forth. Any help is appreciated. Thank You. |

There is an alternate weather applet, which will provide forecasts called "Weather Forecast" present on my Trunk installation. It is likely that it has been packaged by someone using Debian.
