gdm gives you a choice which language you want to come up in - something kdm is sadly lacking out of the box

yes, I know in gdm is very simple, with the selection in the login window,
but what about kde?
Isn't it possible? What about setting up some configuration file?
It's sounds so strange and badly mistery ....

Install the relevant kde-i18n package and then switch the language for each user in the kde control centre>regional & accessibility>country, region & language. I don't know the exact name of the package in Debian, though.

So, at least two login has to be effected by every user

not very user friendly solution, but if it is the only one, I have to accept it

thanks
