Hi,
I want to make a script or a button that launches specific applications by taking care of assigning them to specific desktops. I then want to be able to re-assign the applications to the specified desktops when, after working, I end up having everything messed up.
Do you have some example script, or can you help me in any way implementing this?

Thanks a lot in advance!!

No need for a script.

Alt+F3 in the application you want -> Advanced -> Special application settings -> Geometry -> Check the box next to "desktop", select "remember" and you're done.

KWin will now always open the application up on whatever desktop it was last opened on.
