As I mentioned here, I sufficiently made Kitchensync synchronizer working in KDE 4.2. In fact, it was installed on my system yet before I updated it (Kubuntu 8.04 -> 8.10). Unfortunately I had to reinstall a fresh new Kubuntu 8.10 system on my PC and since then I am not able to install Kitchensync anyhow. All I get is an error message that it depends on libkcal2b, libkdepim1a and libktnef1, which all are not installable. The error message says that I should report a bug. Should I or am I something missing? Thanks.

Kitchensync was not shipped as part of KDE 4.2, because OpenSync, the framework it relies on wasn't committing to a stable API for what was currently under development at the time ( 0.40 ). It is hoped that 0.40 will have been released before KDE 4.3 enters feature freeze.
