Hey,
I finally mapped out a meta (win) key on my netbook, which came with a home key instead of win. I'm trying to assign keyboard shortcuts in KDE3's kcontrol, except that I can't seem to map Meta with another key. I'm trying to assign, for instance, Meta+T to open Konsole. When I open the input dialog, it sees the 'Win' keypress and displays it, but then when I press T, the 'Win' disappears and I'm left with just 'T', instead of the 'Win+T' that I wanted. None of the other modifier keys have the same problem. Does anybody know what's going on? Thanks in advance. |

How did you remap the home key to win?

I did this once. You have to use a XModMap hack, and it prevents the use of the Meta key as a Modifier once implemented.
