After installation KDE 4.2.2 on Mandriva 2009.0 there are following problems:
a) The "Menu" isn't displayed in the left panel corner. b) I can't find the package containing "kde-config". Does somebody know how to resolve the problems? |

In KDE 4, most applications have had a "4" added on to the end.
Example: kde-config -> kde4-config; kbuildsycoca -> kbuildsycoca4. The menu can be added by right clicking on the Desktop > Add Applets. search for "Launcher" then drag one of the two available options ( one is Kickoff, the other is a classic KMenu ) over the desired place in the panel.
