Dears,

i installed KDE 4.2.2 "rev 111" for openSUSE 11.0 (from their repo). everything is fine, i have my 4.2.1 settings here, but unfortunately there is no icon in my system tray. it expands (when i open another app) but no icon appears. no matter what the applications are (kopete, knetworkmanager, klipper, ..) theere is no icon.

tried reinstalling Plasma, kdebase, but no avail.
also tried removing .kde4 folder, no use.
all users on this system have this problem

any help would be appreciated very much !

This is related to your graphics card. If you have either NVidia or ATI, please ensure that it is the most recent compatible version available. Also try ( if it is supported ) toggling compositing ( System Settings > Desktop > Desktop Effects ) to see if anything changes.

It is fixed , i updated Qt to 4.4.3 and here it comes !!
