Hello,

I would like to be able to start several long lasting tasks (for example a file compression tool, or a video/music encoding process) through a kind of "intelligent" scheduler, which starts the tasks sequentially, instead of starting all of them simultaneously and gives some progression feedback on the users through the KDE graphic interface (something similar to KDE file copy progression window).
Does this kind of application already exist ? Is it planned ?
If not, do you think it would be useful to create it ?

Thanks

Jacques
