I know this is likely a dumb question, but I've been hunting all over the place and can't seem to find the setting. I have KDE 4.2.2 on my Debian Sid system and all windows from all desktops are showing on the taskbar, however I only want the windows from the current desktop to be shown on the taskbar. In KDE 3.5 this is is enough to configure, but it is eluding me in KDE4 for the moment.

Right click on empty space in taskbar (or click on panel cashew -> right click on taskbar) -> Task Manager Settings -> Only show tasks from the current desktop.

That was easy! I had too many tasks and I was clicking everywhere else.
Very much appreciated, Hans. Thank you!

Why isn't this selectable from the System Settings? I can understand if it is not part of the desktop and therefore not in the desktop settings but in the system settings at the very least would be nice. |
