Hey guys,

using kde 4.2.2, i can't print normally anymore (i guess it started with kde4.2)

I always get 2 pages on 1 (all printed pages have half the size of an A4 sheet), no matter whether i set it to print "1 on 1" or "2 on 1".

All other multiple-pages-on-one modes (8 on one, 16 on one) seem to work correctly.

Non-KDE-Programs (OpenOffice.org, Firefox) print everything correctly.

Any ideas?

In the KDE print dialog, expand options, change to the "Pages" tab, and ensure that "Pages per sheet" is set to 1, and the paper size has been correctly set. Also, can you reproduce with a new user?

Hey bcooksley,

thank you for your fast reply!
as i already stated, "pages per sheet" is already set to one.
But I found out that i can print normally when logged in as another user.

I also observed that this problem doesn't occur when i print to my other printer. So i deleted the printer which only prints "two on one" and created it again, but it didn't help.

How can I reset the print settings without deleting the .kde folder?

Try deleting $(kde4-config --localprefix)/share/config/kdeprintrc
