i'm always amaze to notice (via knemo) that when starting my system a lot of informations are received and send via internet, (from kde and/or gnu-linux ?)what are these and how can it be modified ??? Thanks ! This is possible from a number of sources, which will depend upon the applications present in your system tray. Your package manager will likely refresh the update repositories prior to checking for updates, so an updater being present could be a possible culprit.
Which distribution do you use? Which applications do you have in your system tray?
