No Sound with USB DVD Burner

Wed May 06, 2009 8:56 pm
Hello,

I have a DVD Burner attached to my PC. As soon as I plug the Burner on an icon is visible and I get the option to rip the data on a Muisc DVD. Ok this works, But how can I simply just listen Musik from this device? I do not see a mount point though the ripping via k3b works.

Has any one an idea ?

Thanks a lot

It is possible the Audio CD KIO slave might work, although it probably won't. audiocd:/
You could also try the videodvd:/ KIO slave, but choose the "AUDIO_TS" folder instead.
You should also be able to find the disk mounted under /media/ if it is a data disc.
