I'm having an issue that appeared when I moved from XFCE-4.4 to KDE4.2. It appears keys are getting stuck. It seems mostly like the control keys (ctrl, shift, etc)... I have no idea why this is happening. They get "unstuck" when I press them again. Is this some sort of KDE feature?

This sounds like a KDE Accessibility feature which has been inadvertently enabled. They can be configured in System Settings > Accessibility.

You may need to logout and login again for it to take full effect.
