Hello everyone,

I just got registered on here as I need a bit of help. I run openSUSE Milestone 1, and I have KDE 4.2.3 release 116, but it looks like I am having KDE3.5 as well. Now here are some screenshots for you too see what I mean..

Is this normal? Meaning maybe these older libs or smth is needed for new things?
Or I am having both 4.2.3 and 3.5?

If the latter is the case I'd like to remove 3.5 as I really do not need it. But I need help from you guys to determine if I have 3.5, and a bit of how to remove it.

Pointing some other threads, short explanation or how to would be great.

You do indeed have the KDE 3 versions of some applications installed. I do not know what applications SUSE are going to ship ( they might include K3b from KDE 3 still ) but you can uninstall them by searching for "kde3-<appname" in YaST then removing them if I remember the blog correctly.
