plasma-widget-network-manager

Fri May 15, 2009 8:48 pm
I closed my Network Management (plasma-widget-network-manager) widget and I would like to get it back. I could not find it in the current widget list. I've googled it to death.

Could anyone please tell me how to get it back?

"Network Management" should be present in your list of Plasmoids. It may not be in your list of current ones however.
Try running the following command to see if it makes a difference:
Code: Select all
kbuildsycoca4 --noincremental

If you would like a replacement, wicd is a good one. I dumped the network manager that came with 4.2.2 in favor of wicd.
