kde 3 - kstart options dont work

i try to run apps (konqueror 3 etc) in kde 3 with kstart
some options seem to not work --caption - no effect --fg --bg - no effect (tried as F00 FF0000 #F00 #FF0000 red) how do i use those properties ? |

At least on KDE4 the option is "-caption" instead of "--caption"
This might apply to "fg" and "bg" also.
