I have a problem disabling the menubar in Konqueror using KDE 4.1 kubuntu 9.04.

Answer: The easiest way to do this is to edit Konqueror's configuration file manually. Add the following lines to ~/.kde/share/config/konquerorrc:
[KonqMainWindow]
MenuBar=Disabled
On restarting Konqueror, the menubar should be hidden.

This seems clear enuf to me, but this method has no effect on the menubar of my system. Could this be an older version that doesn't apply to KDE 4 or what?

Any ideas?
