Hello,
I'm using the beta version of KDE 4.3. I want to use a device action for a USB flash drive with a name. The action should only be shown, when the drive has this name. How to do this? Thanks in advance. |

In my system this feature don't works so I can't test it but must be something like:
- All of the contained conditions must match
The devices property StorageVolume.label must equal XXX

Thanks, but in the list of the conditions the entry isn't right. I think I have to wait for an update.

How isn't the entry right for the list of conditions? You should have masses of possible conditions available, since this was added well before the feature freeze.
Try the following in the add requirement dialog: Requirement Type: Is A Requirement Restriction Type: Compare Value To Device Type: Storage Volume Value Name: Label

Well, he is using openSUSE and in my system all this feature is broken so the same could be for him. If I edit an entry changes is not saved.
I mentioned this on other post and you write that is working so I assumed that is an openSUSE problem and don't report the bug.

I thinks it's like Ignacio Serantes said, so I'll wait. Thanks for your help.

You may need to run "kbuildsycoca4" for KDE to detect the changes.
