Hi,

I am using KDE4.2 (Version 4.2.86 (KDE 4.2.86 (KDE 4.3 >= 20090514)) "release 126") that i installed from the factory repository for opensuse 11.0

since my last update...everytime i switch desktops, a popup shows up with a grid and arrows pointing to how i got from my previous desktop to the current. How can i disable it - i looked around in pager and the desktop grid settings (thats the effect i use for switching desktops). But i dont find any setting....is it a non configurable annoyance?

Thanks

I believe it's linked to the "popup desktop name on desktop switch" setting in System Settings -> Window Behavior.

This bug report may also be of relevance.
