mount, automount in kde 4 issues! Are there any chanche to configure in 4.2
Fri Jun 26, 2009 10:50 am
Hi I'm new of this forum but I'm a proud kde user since years...
The topic of this thread is: what about the mount configuration in kde 4... I've tried to setup hal, I've tried the new device notification, I've try the fstab tuning...but nothing really seems to do the right trick... The test enviroment is kde 4.2 packaged in debian sid / unstable ... It seems that kde ignore hal mount parameters...especially in the first boot...I believe that's a device notifier plasmoid issue. Is there any file to configure kde usb automount and it's options...I've read somewhere that hal now demands mount options to the desktop env applications... Have a nice day Dax |

I think there is an automounter in kde-look.org. You should check the "download new applets" option.
