kde 4.3 rc1 external monitor not taking full resolution

jithin1987 Registered Member Posts 135 Karma 0 OS	kde 4.3 rc1 external monitor not taking full resolution Mon Jul 06, 2009 5:39 am My 1920 * 1200 external monitor is only taking 1280 * 1024 resolution only. The display settings is identifying only that much. How can I make it to take full resolution? Please help jithin1987, proud to be a member of KDE forums since 2008-Oct.
bcooksley Administrator Posts 19765 Karma 87 OS	Re: kde 4.3 rc1 external monitor not taking full resolution Mon Jul 06, 2009 6:04 am Please check your xorg.conf file. It may need to be configured with the needed lines to enable this support. Your distribution should have tools to configure X.

Just Section "ServerFlags" Option "DontZap" "False" EndSection My friends laptop with same configuration works with the same monitor.
