Every time I log in, I am molested by an application called Akonadi, which comes up no less than 4 times to tell me that something trivial I don't need to know about isn't the way it would have hoped. Is there any way to simply tell it to be quiet? I tried to uninstall it, but it seems to want to remove just about all of kde, so it might be important for something; I just don't want to hear about trivial nonsense, and certainly not 4 times.

It probably borked its migration.... try this outside a KDE session.
