Beginner's config of Kmail, Konqueror and Kword?

SCBrazil Registered Member Posts 3 Karma 0	Beginner's config of Kmail, Konqueror and Kword? Tue Jul 07, 2009 4:29 pm Hi, I downloaded and installed Kubuntu yesterday. I am a complete newbie to Linux. So far so good. KDE looks great also. I have three questions but have no idea where to post them on this huge forum; I am using KDE 4.2.2 with Konqueror browser also 4.2.2 1. Is there any way I can configure the Konqueror browser to access my Yahoo mail account in the new version of Yahoo mail? 2. Is it possible to configure Kmail (v. 1.11.2) to Yahoo mail? If so, could someone point me in the direction of a tutorial? 3. Kubuntu came packaged with OpenOffice Word and not Kword. Tue Jul 07, 2009 11:57 pm Regarding 1, you can probably instruct Konqueror to falsify its Browser Identification under Tools > Change browser identification, which will make Yahoo load the newer version. It may not work however. Regarding 2, if SMTP and POP/IMAP server details are available from Yahoo then it should be trivial to configure, otherwise it is not possible.
