file collation

Fri Jul 24, 2009 3:18 am
Hello everyone,

I have four directories: h123, h456, h78l1, l2345 (that's a lower-case L there). That's the order bash puts them in, and that's how I'd expect to see them. However, konq (and all KDE apps) orders them as h78l1, h123, h456, l2345.

Collation is the right term for this, I hope. Is there a way I can set KDE so it will order the files as bash does?

Thanks!

There is a bugreport about it, see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=169883

So, obviously it isn't (yet?).
