Were the system:/ and media:/ ioslaves ported to KDE4? Is there an equivalent method of browsing the attached devices?

Also, I'm using konqueror and everytime I put in 'system:/' or 'media:/' I get a google search for that term. I HATE this behavior. How do I turn off these automatic google searches?

Thanks

The system and media KIO slaves have not been ported to KDE 4 unfortunately. You will need to use Dolphin ( which displays disk drives in its left side panel ) or the Device Notifier applet ( which does not display some types of devices ) to access your data easily at this time unfortunately.

You can disable automatic google searching through: Konqueror > Settings > Configure Konqueror > Web Browsing > Web Shortcuts.
Set "Default Search Engine" to "None"
