Sorry if this bug has been reported before, but I can't find it.
This happens when the system is idle and plugged in. If you don't wake the system up first and simply unplug the AC, the system suspends to RAM. Is it possible to make the powerdevil (or whatever it is that's responsible for this) reset the idle counter when the AC is unplugged? |

This is likely a bug in Powerdevil. Please check to ensure that it does not occur under KDE 4.3, then report it at bugs.kde.org.
