I have a 20" LCD monitor attached to my laptop and I can't get the system configuration utility to change my 20" monitor's resolution; it stays at 1024x768. I can manually changed it with xrandr but I would sure like to find out how to manage this correctly via the display utility. I have KDE 4.1 installed on Fedora 9. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

TIA,
Thomas

@mdaa83: If you still encounter this issue, you may wish to check your Xorg configuration.

Apologies that you never recieved a reply.

Thanks for the reply. I solved my problem with a script that runs xrandr but after you posted your reply, I checked again. Seems that KDE 4.1.3 now works great (can't tell when it was fixed since my script has been working fine for a long time now).
