Or, configure your touchpad to turn of tapping after a certain timeout with syndaemon or synclient. Googling for these two commands will give you a lot of info. Personal gripe: why does KDE 4 not have an onboard setting tool for touchpads / Wacom tablets / touch screens? XiniX, proud to be a member of KDE forums since 2008-Oct.
