Dolphin Side Panels resizing

Wed Aug 26, 2009 10:49 pm
Hi,
In Dolphin when I browse a directory with archives (.tar.gz, .tar.bz2 ) and I hover the mouse over an archive, the side panel(s) ; places, folders, information tend to expand by themselves. This has happened on Debian and on PCBSD. It is usually difficult to manually resize the side panel after this unless I leave the directory.
Is there a way to control or stop this behavior? Has this been discussed already? I'm not sure what to search for. Thanks.

The panel should not automatically resize. Please file a bug at bugs.kde.org, assuming you are using KDE 4.3.
