Hello, All.
Suddenly, all newly created windows started to contain small and barely unreadable fonts. KWrite, open-file-dialog, ksysguard etc -- any of them become ugly. But windows which were opened, say, earlier than day ago, are still normal. Here is a screenshot where the problem is clear: http://img402.imageshack.us/img402/1153 ... tfonts.png Please, give me a hint what can I do to restore previous look and feel? KDE version: 4.3.0 OS: Linux 2.6.26-gentoo-r3 x86_64 P.S. I played with screen resolution, may be it was the reason. |

Does it occur also under a new user? I suspect either a DPI issue ( which ties into the resolution changes ) or FontConfig database corruption.

You were right, it was a DPI issue. I forced it to be 96 and previous l&f was restored.
Strange but earlier DPI forcing was disabled and it was working fine. |

When something like that happens, it is usually from a program creating a new ~/.fonts.conf, or messing with its settings. For KDE 4.3.x, in my distro, removing that file restores the default font settings. In KDE 4.2.x, I had to overwrite that file with the one I tar'd when I installed my system.
