Hi,

I use sidux for some days now and like it a lot. I used the following tutorial to enable Nepomuk and Strigi:

http://sidux.com/module-News-display-sid-533.html

I like it, but now I have the problem that Strigi starts and stops nearly every minute. I don't know why. AC is connected so there is no need to save system ressources I think.

And what's really getting on my nerves is the fact that there is always a notification about what Strigi is doing now. It is okay that it works dynamically to use power efficiently, but that should be told to the user all the time.

In KDE 4.3 there is the possiblity to disable some notifications, but I think Nepomuk is a app notification and I don't want to switch off all of them.

I hope somebody can help me with this.
