Hi, i'm not able to build playground/sysadmin with kdesvn-build. Here is the build-log: http://pastebin.com/f18d0d60b

What's wrong?:-(

That's why I don't like kdesvn-build: You're trying to build whole playground/sysadmin but u haven't checked what actually is going to be compiled. ;)

http://websvn.kde.org/trunk/playground/sysadmin/

There is obviously some code there which is several months old.

And your build process failed on Shaman, which is a KDE4 GUI for Pacman, package manager used by Archlinux and some other distroes.

When you compile playground you need to do it part by part MANUALY, so u can catch up with all the deps and so that you can actually understand what are you doing. I mean, check out the websvn/trunk/playground: It's a mess. You have some obsolete, replaced, or even not very logical stuff there (I don't know what's your distro, but say, compiling Adept or Shaman on OpenSuse doesn't make very much sense ;) )

libparted1.7-dev is the package you need. Also, for kapckagekit you'll need latest packagekit, which you can find in some of ubuntu ppas

Given the inactivity of this thread, and solutions to all the original posters problems, I am marking this thread as solved. If it is not actually solved, feel free to remove [SOLVED] from the thread subject.
