hi i am using GNOME on Fedora 11 now. I tried to install KDE4 using Add/Remove Software. And Check on K Desktop Environment - Workspace; kdebase-workspace-4.3.1-1.fc11(i586). Error

Dependency Resolution Failed
A package could not be found that allows the action to complete.
More information is available in the detailed report.

MORE DETAILS
libkworkspace.so.4 is needed by package 6:kdebase-4.3.1-2.fc11.586 (updates).

So I yum install libkworkspace.so.4 in Terminal BUT:

Loaded plugins: presto, refresh-packagekit
Setting up Install Process
Package kdebase-workspace-libs-4.3.1-1.fc11.i586 already installed and latest version
Nothing to do

Does any one knows what could I have done wrong?

Thank you

It appears that your repository cache is out of sync. You need to refresh it.
On Debian it is "apt-get update" and on SUSE "zypper refresh", unfortunately I don't know the "yum" options needed to do this.

rpm -qa kdebase
kdebase-4.3.1-2.fc11.i586

I'm guessing that I got it from updates-testing. Try

yum --enablerepo=updates-testing update kdebase
