Just upgraded KDE to version 4.3.2.
Now, when updating the Mandriva 2009.1-system, i receive a proposal for updating Akonadi-common to version 1.1.2.

When accepting to update, following message appears:

- akonadi-common-1.1.2-1.1mdv2009.1.x86_64
- akonadi-common-1.1.2-1.1mdv2009.1.x86_64

384KB of additional disk space will be used.

195KB of packages will be retrieved.

Is it ok to continue?

Answering "Yes", brings up the following message:

1 installation transactions failed

There was a problem during the installation:

akonadi >= 1:1.1.95 is needed by (installed) kopete-3:4.3.2-0.1mdv2009.1.x86_64

Tried uninstalling Kopete, and Akonadi, but all on no effort.

Anyone any suggestion?

Issue solved.

Probleem rondom Kopete 4.3.2 in samenhang met Akonadi-common opgelost.

Heb Kopete weer ge-deinstalleerd, en vervolgens Kopete 4.2.4 geinstalleerd.
Daarrna via MCC update uitgevoerd.
Uiteindelijk nog eens update opgestart, en een schone, lege, lijst terug gekregen.
Kopete staat dus nu ook op 4.3.2.

Eindelijk tijd de nieuwe KDE-omgeving verder te bestuderen.

De-installed Kopete 4.3.2.
After that installed Kopete 4.2.4.
Then started update through MCC, Mandrica Control Centre.
And no error-messages anymore.

Quite right neverendingo:

This was the workaround used coming to the solution:

De-installed Kopete 4.3.2.
After that installed Kopete 4.2.4.
Then started update through MCC, Mandriva Control Centre.
And no error-messages anymore.

.....and sorry, don't know about the "solved icon".o)

This one. You can find it under every post. Just click on the post that has the solution in it. In this case, your own ;)
