Sorry, but don't want to explain everything once more. Simply look here:

http://chakra-project.org/bbs/viewtopic ... 9822#p9822

It's a short thread, not much to read. It is going to be fixed in Chakra, but it is possible it is a general KDE problem.

I don't know if I should post of buge.kde.org, because:

1) Don't know if it applies for other KDE distros (I'm asking you to test)

2) The way to resolve it is already known, so it may be simple to commit a change somewhere (no idea how to do this, so that's why I'm posting)

Whilst I do not have the printer config applet installed, if this problem was experienced with KDE 4.3.2 or Trunk, then please submit the patch to its maintainer. I believe the printer configuration tool came from Kubuntu and was written by JonTheEchinda, who can be found in #kde-devel on FreeNode.

To be clear, I did not write this utility. Jonathan Riddell (Riddell on Freenode) did. :)

On that note, this bug affects all linux distributions. It has been fixed in trunk and in the Kubuntu 9.10 packages. I do not know if Riddell has backported the fix to KDE 4.3.x yet.

JontheEchinda, proud to be a member of the Kubuntu team since July 2008.
