What kind of dialogs does it display? If it displays Gtk+ dialogs, you can make it use KDE's by setting the env variable OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP to kde before running OpenOffice:

Code: Select all
OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde ooffice

If it displays KDE4 dialogs, I don't think it's possible to change them.

Yes, your are right.
What I try is to use kde dialogs instead of gtk.

But even setting the variable, I can't see kde dialogs.

What I do:
export OOO_FORCE_DESKTOP=kde ; openoffice.org3 -writer

Any other suggestion?

Thanks

Sounds like the KDE extensions package isn't installed. I don't know what it's called in Ubuntu but something like OpenOffice_org-kde would be a guess.
