Hello everyone,
I know that is not something you click every day, but I see that when you click on a link like nntp://news.gmane.org/ in the Konqueror web browser Dolphin opens that address (using the nntp KIOslave), displaying folders for the groups at that address. Ok, it's nice, but I expected that the newsreader knode opened that address, so I could start browsing and reading newsgroups at that address as I do with my usual news server. Do you know how I can change this behaviour? ![]() thanks in advance gerlos

This is handled by .protocol files in KDE's "services" directory, e.g. /usr/share/services, $HOME/.kde/share/services, etc.
You can get a full list by running this
They can refer to a KIO slave or an application. Check the telnet.protocol for one that delegates to an application. Cheers, _
