Hello.
When your default logout action is shutdown, it shows a counter saying "turning off computer in 30 seconds", and it makes like it says. How do i change the 30 seconds value? Thanks |

i've set a keyboard shortcut to the "halt without confirmation" command
system settings -> keyboard & mouse -> Global Keyboard shortcuts - > Run Command interface -> "halt without confirmation" |

well i could write a shell script and put a launcher on the desktop but i still want to know if there is a place to change that timer. i grepped the entire /etc tree and the entire /usr tree for 'turning computer off' and the only results i got were in ksmserver binary and a few language modules.
Just set the plate down, and back away slowly.

This value is likely hard coded into the application which provides that dialog, which is KRunner I believe.

you can also disable the confirmation in kde's systemsettings, under [advanced->sessionmanager]
